Social media: Use it right or lose the fight

Is social media meeting its marketing potential? Less than 20% of marketing and creative industry professionals said that they had established a profitable social media strategy and presence. At a pivotal time when social media is becoming an increasingly strategic part of the marketing mix, there is a need for marketers to up their social game. 

Recently, Campaign Insight in partnership with Socialbakers, ran a survey of more than 100 marketers, social media managers and creative industry professionals to understand the current use of social media and the challenges faced. This report highlights the areas where brands can make improvements to their strategy in order to reap richer rewards.
